I’m 60 years old and have been a keen baker and cook all my life.  I remember making apple pie with my grandmother when I was five years old.  I’m the mother of two, wicked stepmother to two more and wife of a wonderful man, the Davinator.

The Davinator loves to eat so we are the perfect couple.  At least in that sense.

I believe we should eat in season and eat as much local produce as possible.  I understand the vital role of convenience food especially for working people but I would like to raise awareness of what we give up to get convenience.  And the more food is processed the less like real food it is.
